Matthew 10:16 ... (Jesus said) Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
People who say they are Christians often attack me after I share what God has shown me. This would not happen if those people turned to God in prayer and ask Him about those things I speak. But those people do not turn to God for truth in the matter. They just can't wait to say what they think. I don't believe they are really of God ... I believe they put themselves into the church. For if they had the Spirit of God, they would understand what God says through me.
Jesus said ... Jn. 8 ... Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Jude ... But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
We have to we wise unto harm. They will strike just as the Pharisees struck at Jesus when Jesus spoke.
God raises me up each time they strike at me.
Also God restores my soul and my heart so I am able to go forth in peace, ceasing strife with those who do not understand and will not understand. If they turned to God and if God gave them understanding they would understand and would not strike out at me. But since they do not turn to God and do not belong to God they continue in the darkness of what they think. We just put them away when we see this and move on to the next issue.
So if someone strikes out at you when you share what God has said to you, turn to God in prayer and allow HIM to restore your soul. It is usually best not to share the incident with other people until you have been restored by God and then you can tell what God used to restore you.

Meditation example
Meditation: Joan Boney
Romans 13:14 ... But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Put on Jesus Christ (THE WORD) ... Pray before doing something, ... Consider: "What does God want me to do in this situation" ... Turn to God with all your heart ... Ask HIM about the issue at hand ... What does God show you by HIS spirit ... Focus on that as you go forward... prayer is one part of armor of God ... Eph. 6 Be Strong in the Lord and power of HIS might. Put on the whole armor of God : truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, the word of God, prayer

God leads His children in the best way
Pam Padgett ... teacher
After God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt to go to the land God had prepared for them, HE told that HE would cause their enemies to turn back from them, and would drive out the Hivites, Canaanites, and Hittites from the land ...
Exodus 23:27 I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee. 28 And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
Although God would drive them out, HE would not do this all at once, in one year. For God knew if HE drove the Hivites, Canaanites, and Hittites out of the land all at once, the land would become desolate, and beasts would multiply and be a danger to the children of Israel. So God would drive the inhabitants of the land out little by little as the children of Israel increased in the land they were to inherit ...
Exodus 23:29 I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee. 30 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
God knew what would happen if the Hivites, Canaanites, and Hittites were driven out suddenly, and the best way to bring the children of Israel into the land God had prepared for them.

Kingdom of God is in power
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
What is a god without power?
When we think of our God, how do we describe HIM?
I think of "the God" who created all things ... heaven, earth, plants, animals, humans ... He created these things by THE WORD. He didn't create them from a substance that already existed. HE spoke and they were created ... THE WORD was the power to create all.
Through God's journey in time with humans, God showed HIMSELF by HIS power.
We think of the mighty power displayed by God in the various plagues brought upon the Egyptians when God was delivering HIS chosen people. One great power at that time was the bringing of darkness upon the land of Egypt except for the area of Goshen where God's chosen people dwelt.
Gen. 47:27 ... And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.
Ex. 10 ... And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt. 22And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: 23They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
Today, God gives HIS people understanding ... light. In each of us, dwells the Holy Spirit of God to teach us and guide us.
When we think of the great power of God, that is the reason God raised up Pharaoh and hardened his heart, to show HIS great power by those various miracles ... the river turning to blood, the flies, the frogs, the lice, the hail, and such ... and finally the killing of the first born in Egypt ...
Throughout the Old Testament we see the great power of God.
I love the story of Dagon, the god of the Egyptians ...
I Sam. 5 ... And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod. 2When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. 3And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. 4And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.
The amazing thing is God clearly showed HE is God and Dagon has no power at all. But the Philistines wanted no part of God ... and they even wanted to protect Dagon ... Why wouldn't the Philistines have turned to the real God seeing HIS power? Because the Philistines were not appointed to God to salvation.
There is an elect of God ... They are the chosen of God to salvation ... There are also people created to destruction ...
Romans 9 ... For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. 9For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son. 10And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; 11(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) 12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. 13As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. 17For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. 18Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. 19Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? 20Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, 24Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
By their resistance, God had occasion to show HIS great power.
There are many things in churches today where there is no power. There is no power in lighting of candles. There is no power is eating crackers and drinking grape juice while calling it "The Lord's Supper". The Lord's supper is eating and drinking THE WORD given by the Holy Spirit. That Word is power. By That Word we are changed. That is real power.
When there is no power, we know the act is not of God.
And concerning men, God has the power to change hearts as HE wills, whether to harden the heart or to cause the heart to repent.
Prov. 21:1 ... The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
And what of the children of God today?
Romans 8:28 ... And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
God conforms HIS people to the image of Christ (THE WORD) as we live on this earth.
Sometimes we conform to the image of Christ (THE WORD) as they defraud us and we refuse to act against them knowing God will repay us and them for the act.
Sometimes everything works out according to our thinking.
But all things are done according to HIS purpose.
And we who are of God may not understand why it went that way, but we know it is to good and not evil against us for it is "according to HIS purpose" and God has control in all things.
Therefore we pray in faith ... "Not my will, but Thy will be done."

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 119:140 ... Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

The Word we hear from the Spirit of God is truth.
I often sit and think: "And what have I heard from God about the subject."

Where I go HE goes for HE is inside of me ...

God watches over me day and night. HE does not sleep.
Angels about me.
Jesus intercedes for me.
Recently I had a dream where I was searching for my mother's room in a hotel. It was a hard dream. When I awoke and realized my mother is dead, and everyone from that time is dead and I am here on this earth and it seems I am alone ... but I am not alone. God is with me and in me. I never feel alone and this is the reason. And HE is my life. And I am complete in HIM.
Col. 2 ... And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. 5For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. 6As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Col. 3 ... If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory

Exodus 23:23 For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:and I will cut them off. 24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images. 25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Today we live in midst of people who do not fear God, and who serve all kinds of other "gods", such as ...
- trying to protect and provide for themselves by wisdom of man ... worshiping wisdom of man rather than turning to God and depending on HIM
- immorality (fornication, adultery, homosexuality)
- love of money
- worshiping success in things of this world
- trusting in politicians for safety and well-being
These are not the ways I am to go.
These gods and idols are overthrown and broken down around me when I speak and cling to truth from God and do as led by the Holy Spirit ... not going along with them ...
- when spoke against his son marrying a divorced woman, Chuck wanted no more to do with me
- since I asked Ann to stop sending emails of what she thought were "cute" sayings, but which were against what God has said, she does not acknowledge me when she sees me
- spoke truth to John about not dealing honestly with my last review, shining a bright light on the matter which he could not deny
God is greater than all. I've been called by God to serve HIM, to go in HIS way not in the ways of this world.

Uncleanness as a work of the flesh
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Gal. 5 ... Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
What is "uncleanness"?
This word is defined for us in the following scripture:
I Thess. 4 ... That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. 7For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
defraud ... would be to take advantage of another person for your own personal gain ... either in money or in time ...
We must be very careful in dealing with people. Often I end up paying even more than required when I deal with people.
My sound guy, David, is not a greedy person. He lives 450 miles from me. He freely sends workers to help me. He does not charge me to do this. He just says he has a lot of frequent flyer miles stored up. But that worker has to drive from East Texas to Dallas to catch plane (100 miles one way). David has to pay the worker for the day's wages. When David is sending a worker here, I just send David a check for $150-$200 to help with expenses. David always tells me I don't have to do that. But I consider it would be wrong not to do that. So I do it.
I think this examples shows us how we must not defraud another person. We must deal fairly or even generously with that person.
So often when I am considering what to pay, I will think of a figure and I will hear an even higher figure. which I believe to be from Holy Spirit. I always choose to pay the higher figure.
It is not the worldly question: "How much can I get this job done for" ... rather it is the question, "What amount is right in the sight of God?"

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 119:133 ... Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
Just as Jesus came down from heaven, sent by the Father, today the WORD (which is Jesus) comes down from heaven sent by the Father by His Spirit.
We will sometimes just have a word called to our mind. Often that word is from the Holy Spirit. Sometimes it is from another spirit. But we pray over what we have brought to mind asking God to show us if that is from Him. We wait until that word is confirmed to our satisfaction and if we believe we have heard from God, we act on that word.
...
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Iniquity is defined as immoral or unjust act

Approaching prayer
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
When we pray, we must pray "in faith" ... Prayer must not be a rote exercise... Prayer must be a real talking with God.
I use a spiral notebook when I meditate in scripture. At the back of that notebook, I list subjects about which I have prayed. And at the top of that prayer section, I keep two scriptures to help build my faith in God.
Prov. 3:6 ... In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Isaiah 58:11 ... And the LORD shall guide thee continually,
Looking at these scriptures helps me to pray in faith.
Looking at a listing of the subject helps me later when I wonder if I have prayed about a certain thing.
I don't always remember to list what I pray but it is helpful when doubts begin to come over the subject if I have listed what I prayed about.

Helped when remembering the works of God

In Psalm 77 we're given an account of a man who cried out to God when in the midst of trouble, and God heard and helped him ...
Psalm 77:1 I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.
Being overwhelmed with trouble, he sought help from God, and poured out his heart to God ...
Psalm 77:2 In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted. 3 I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah. 4 Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak. 5 I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times. 6 I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search. 7 Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more? 8 Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore? 9 Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.
As he sought help from God, he saw to consider the works of God and meditate on these ...
Psalm 77:10 And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High. 11 I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. 12 I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.
He was re-established in God being greater than any other ...
Psalm 77:13 Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
He considered how God helps HIS people by HIS strength, and redeems them ...
Psalm 77:14 Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people. 15 Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
The power of God is seen in creation ... troubling of deep waters, clouds bringing forth rain, thunder, lightning, earthquakes. God is over all ...
Psalm 77:16 The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled. 17 The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad. 18 The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook. 19 Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 119:137 ... Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy judgments.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
The thoughts of God are often very different from what man thinks is the right things to do.
Paul explained in following scripture: Romans 9 ... They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
25As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. 26And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. 27Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: 28For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. 29And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

I have a new video processor. It is an excellent machine. But it has so many variables it needs someone to come in and calibrate the picture. I have worked for about a week and have made some good progress but last night I said to God ... "I need help on this and I don't have any idea what to do about it."
Pam knew of the problem. This morning she awoke at 4 am crying out to God, asking HIM to help me with this.
This morning I was trying to read Bible but I kept thinking of the video processor. I got the manual and began working through the settings and I did make some progress but I knew I was way over my head in this.
About 1 pm the phone rang. It was a man in Chicago who is an expert in video calibration. The president of the company who made the video processor called him and told him about me and how I needed help. He has clients in Texas. I think we may be able to work out a deal for him to come to Lubbock and set the machine for me.
I knew it was God making this possible.
God does not want us troubled even over small secular things.

Two or three nights ago I had the following dream: I was trying to get to my mother. She was in a room in a hotel and I was working so hard to find her room. I went down a corridor of rooms and made a U-turn and began down another long corridor. I knew I was getting closer to her room. I was trying to rush along for she had been alone there for several days. Then I awoke from the dream. I started crying out to God. "I don't want to leave the earth. I want to stay here and do these exhortations."
I've wanted to leave the earth for more than 30 years. Now I do not want to leave the earth. I want to share these things of God with the church. I want to be here to do this! I want to speak things that show God. I want people in the church to glorify God. Above all things I want to be here to do this.
This is really the only reason I want to be alive on the earth.
It is amazing to me for I know how much I have wanted to leave. And now I am 76 years old (almost). I have some pain from the accident of 3 years ago. My left foot has lots of problems. I have 2 eye diseases. But I want to be here to glorify God with the spiritual gift of exhortation which God has given me for the church. I hardly ever leave my house. I don't want to leave my house. I want to do these writings which causes these messages from God and about God to go all over the world to edify the church all over the world

When you approach meditating in the Word of God
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Meditating in the Word of God is not reading our examples of our meditating in the Word of God.
It can be helpful to read our examples. But just reading these is not doing meditating in the Word of God.
Each person needs to meditate daily in the Word of God.
This requires you sitting down with the Bible and looking very deeply into those scriptures that stand out to you. And then apply that word in an appropriate manner. It is a very personal thing. You must do your own meditating and not just read our examples of our meditating. I have to eat and drink my own food, and so do you.
So beware: James 1 ... But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
By reading the Bible and meditating in those scriptures that stand out to you and then doing that which is appropriate, you develop your own personal relationship with God and you will grow strong in "The LORD" that way.
If you eat and drink the word of God incorrectly you bring destruction upon yourself according to Paul.
I Cor. 11 ... Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
We eat "unworthily" when we think we have to read the Bible but we want to get on with life so we sit down with Bible and rush through a chapter and then get up without focusing on any scripture and go about our worldly activities.
We examine ourselves each time we take a scripture or a section of scripture and focus on what it is telling us and pray over it and apply it to our lives making appropriate changes in that which we are doing on this earth or thinking of doing.
We judge ourselves each time we pay attention to that scripture that stands out to us as we read the Bible. That scripture is light for us, showing us the way of God. It may end up confirming the direction we are going or it may end up condemning the direction we have chosen. Either way it is light. When we use it correctly we "judge" ourselves in the way we are going on this present earth.
Beware of how you approach the Word of God.

We have a 43 yr. old son who is autistic and has been living in a group home for 14 years now. His behavior has been very good. However, toward the end of June I received a frantic telephone call from a consumer service coordinator, informing me that all of a sudden James went into a rage and was injuring people in his group home. I suggested that he should have a staff member with him at all times. A staff member sat outside his bedroom door all that night. James also has a bed neighbor, Jack. This didn't work out as James was still agitated. The coordinator phoned me the next day and said that Jack's family are insisting that James be in a private room. As the home didn't have an extra room, they were going to convert one of the offices into a bedroom for him. While this was going on I was devastated. I kept crying out to God for His mercy and His help.
I visit James every other Sunday at his home. The next Sunday when I visited him, his behavior was wonderful. That day I spoke with a male nurse who is a born-again Christian. He asked me if I knew what happened, I said "no." Then he told me that the home had run out of his medication, which caused the behavior problem. I was so happy to hear what caused his problem, and thought that everything was back to normal again. However, Jack's family were still insisting that James be put in a room away from Jack. During this episode they took James to his Psychiatrist, who wanted to raise the level of his medication. I told the people involved that I do not want James medication increased, and I do not want his room changed.
During this time, I was so afraid that they would change James' room without my permission. Still calling out to God for His mercy, I was given the following scriptures which really helped me:
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the LORD.
Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
I John 4:4 Ye are of God little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
For a while, Jack's family wanted to call a special meeting at the home to discuss James being put out of his room, but since that time I haven't heard another word, and the meeting didn't take place.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 119:130 ... The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
God gives us light and understanding by His Spirit. By that word delivered by His Spirit we know the way to go and the way not to go.
One way the Holy Spirit speaks to us is by dreams. Often I have been given a dream to show me truth. People say all manner of things to try to make themselves approved by other humans. But often God will give me a dream to show me what is really going on. That is truth.
Sometimes the Holy Spirit will remind me of a scripture to guide me.
And sometimes there will just be a simple direction given me. Here is an example of that. I had ordered a sound processor. My dealer kept saying to me that he thought it had been shipped. I awaited email word telling me it had arrived at the dealers location. No word came. A week or so would pass. Then when I inquired the dealer would say the unit should be at his place at the end of that week. The week ended and no word from dealer. I would inquire. The dealer then said the unit should be at his location on Monday or Tuesday at latest. Monday and Tuesday passed and no word from dealer.
Then I had the gentle instruction: "Just contact dealer and tell me if the unit had not shipped why didn't he try to get the manufacturer to ship it directly to me." That would save dealer effort and money since he lives on other side of Texas, about 450 miles away.
The dealer replied immediately saying "that is what manufacturer will do" (ship directly to me) ... and it should be shipped "tomorrow". By that I received truth. The unit had not been shipped. I had been looking for it for about 2 1/2 weeks and had been told it had shipped. But the truth was it had not been shipped. Now, perhaps, it will be shipped. But this time to me direct and I won't be looking for emails from dealer. Instead I will send dealer email when unit arrives at my house. This frees me.
God knows the truth about all issues. And the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, reveals truth to us. We are freed by truth.
It is the nature of man to withhold truth. Usually there is no real reason to do this but man often finds it very difficult to speak truth.
God speaks truth by His Spirit.

OT sabbath compared with NT sabbath
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
On 9-22-13, Pam Padgett mentioned the OT sabbath in her writing. In the OT God commanded man to rest in his place on the seventh day as God rested from all HIS works on the seventh day.
Genesis 2:2 ... And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
It is very important to notice this was a "resting from all his work" ...
God set up a rest for man. In the OT sabbath man was not to do any work. He was to stay "in his place" (in his tent/in his house) all day. There would be no food gathering (buying) or preparation.
The religious leaders often attacked Jesus for doing works on the sabbath.
They attacked David and his men for going into the fields on the sabbath and pulling ears of corn and eating.
Mt. 12 ... Jesus speaking concerning the sabbath ... At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. 2But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. 3But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; 4How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? 5Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? 6But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. 7But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. 8For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
The NT sabbath is explained for us in Hebrews 4 ... It is a ceasing from our own works. Every day for us is a sabbath for instead of doing our own works, our own ideas, we are to rest in that which is shown us by God about the matter at hand. Therefore we labor to enter into what HE has shown us. This is the NT sabbath.
Heb. 4 ...Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. 5And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: 7Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. 8For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest,
In the OT, on the sabbath, man was to cease from his own works. He remained in his "tent" or "house". No food was prepared on the sabbath. He did not leave his place on the sabbath in the OT.
Today both the Jews and Christians want to have a day they call the sabbath.
But neither fulfilled the law of the OT on this sabbath for if they did they would remain in their place all day and no food would be prepared. Certainly they would not go to grocery store and no one would watch football. It would totally be a day unto the LORD.
When looked at by OT instructions, I suspect no one (Christian nor Jew) would want to try to observe it this way. There is a perverted "sabbath" where either Saturday or Sunday is declared the sabbath. But the NT sabbath is a way of life where we observe it by ceasing continually from our own works and committing all plans to God in prayer and entering into HIS rest by hearing what HE wants us to do concerning that matter and believing HIM and going in HIS way... thus ceasing from our own works.
One day I was as grocery and the woman in front of me in check out line was berating the checker who apparent went to her church group. This woman was saying, "I can't believe you are working on a Sunday." The checker replied they called her and needed her. The woman continued speaking against the checker working on a Sunday.
Finally, I spoke up and said to this woman: "I can't believe you are buying groceries on a Sunday. For if you want to live by OT law, you would not be buying food on a Sunday." Both women were shocked and no more words came through either mouth.
So if anyone reading this wants to live by OT sabbath they must remain in their place all day and cease from all work and think all day on God. (NO TV)
Ex. 16 ... See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. 30So the people rested on the seventh day.
But for those of us who want to live by NT, we see the OT sabbath as a physical demonstration of man ceasing from his own works as God did from HIS. And we enter into God's rest daily by turning to God with the issues of this present life and hearing from God and resting in what God says to us about the matter at hand. It is a daily sabbath to God.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 119:105 ... Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
By the Word of God delivered by the Spirit of God, we know exactly where to walk and which way to go.
The Word of God can come by the Spirit through a scripture. The Word of God can come by the Spirit through a dream. The Word of God could be delivered through another person by the Spirit.
Example:
Through a scripture ... At one point in my life, the following scripture stood out to me ...
Phil. 2 ... Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, I set about to stop anything that would cause me to achieve in fleshly ways. I spent the next 7 months focused on evaluating myself by this word and eliminating all fleshly types of achievements. (This is what it means to eat the flesh of Jesus and to drink HIS blood.)
Through a dream ...In approximately 1999, I had a dream where I was building a house. I saw the exact location in the dream. At the time, I had no plans to build a house. 2002 when my mother died, I put the house up for sale and planned to move to Lubbock, TX. I met with realtor and looked at existing property one morning and I met with a contractor to see about building that after. I decided to build. I was probably influenced to build by that dream I had 3 years earlier.
I've had many dreams where God has shown me the truth about individuals so I would not try to go the way my flesh wanted to go. Concerning one cousin: She wanted me to move to city where she lives. But God gave me a dream showing me I could not "go through her house." I ended up moving 350 miles away from this cousin.
I had another dream about this same cousin. In the dream, she was accusing me of damaging her house, her carpet. I was explaining I hadn't even been in the room where the damage happened. She refused to hear me. There was another woman behind her and they walked passed me and wouldn't even look my direction. I left her house. I knew God was showing me it would avail nothing to try to talk with this cousin. She would just accuse me and would not hear me.
Word carried by another person: Recently Pam Padgett ran into blockage and couldn't take action concerning sound equipment. It was clear to me we had the way of escape before us concerning equipment we had purchased. That way required us to pay a little more money to be able to trade the defective item for an item that should be solid. When I saw Pam was doing nothing and trapped, I spoke truth to her and it broke her free so she could act.

Meditation examples
Meditation: Joan Boney
I Peter 2:7 ... Unto you therefore which believe he (THE WORD) is precious:
Precious means:
- of great value: not to be wasted or treated carelessly
- greatly loved or cherished
- looked after with care
- treasured
Mt. 13 ... the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. 45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 46Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Nothing is like THE WORD of God.
When needed, all is forsaken if you have to do so to cling to THE WORD.
You do not let anything or anyone interfere with THE WORD.
To us, THE WORD is like the husband the wife clings to.
Absolutely nothing is equal to THE WORD.

Building faith in God ... Keeping faith in God
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
We have to work at faith ... It is a labor which requires daily work ...
Faith is hearing from God what to do, confirming that word to be from the Spirit of God and not from another spirit, and then after confirmation holding fast to that word.
We labor to enter into HIS rest on the various issues of this present life. It is a labor to enter in. When we enter in to what God has said we "cease from our own works", ceasing from our own plans and doing what HE instructs.
A recent example: I turned to God in prayer asking HIM certain questions: Do I need to purchase a video processor? If so, how do I get it installed? And which model do I need if I need such? I felt God gave me specific answers to each of these questions. Then the real battle began. Multiple people in the video business said I did not need a video processor today to get what I wanted in video. Did I hear from God? That which I believed to be from God was opposite to the video people who spoke. Which did I believe. I kept evaluating whether or not I had heard from God or from another spirit. I was persuaded I had heard from God. So I set up the installation with the person I'd heard to set it up with. I ordered the processor and was advised by my sound guy, David, as to the model.
It doesn't seem the above would be such a big battle but it was. I even had to write out every step and cling to each step that I believed I'd heard. I purposed to go forward without wavering.
The processor is now installed and it did get the picture I wanted. I don't believe I would have been able to get that picture any other way. And had I tried to use what I had, I would have been troubled a little each time I turned on the TV.
I believe all this is the mercy of God who didn't want me troubled even in this little thing. So HE showed me the way to go to resolve the issue so it wouldn't trouble me.
Faith is a battle!

Don't envy the wicked
Pam Padgett ... teacher
In Psalm 73 we're told of a man who envied the worldly gains and ease of the wicked. But when he turned to God, God showed him truth about the wicked, setting this man's feet on solid ground again.
This man saw the wicked prospering in things of this world and not having problems other men have. Yet the wicked are proud, violent, and corrupt. And they have no fear of God ...
Psalm 73:1 Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart. 2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. 3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. 4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm. 5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men. 6 Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. 7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish. 8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily. 9 They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth. 10 Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them. 11 And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? 12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
Seeing the wicked prosper, this man questioned whether it was vain to live in a way that is right before God ...
Psalm 73:13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency. 14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
But when this man turned to God, he understood the destruction that lies ahead for the wicked ...
Psalm 73:16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; 17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. 18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. 19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. 20 As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
This man repented of having envied the wicked, and was re-established in the help, mercy and justice of God. He put his trust in God ...
Psalm 73:21 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. 22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee. 23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. 24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. 25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. 26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. 27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee. 28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 119:102 ... I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
When we have the Holy Spirit, God is our teacher. Others might speak the word of God but God has already sealed up truth in us so when we hear truth spoken we recognize it as being truth from God.
For example: If you have been trouble in church when they pass crackers and grape juice and call it the Lord's supper and if you have not really known exactly how you are supposed to feel and act when you eat the cracker and drink the grape juice, you are not alone. Many of us have felt this way. The truth is: This is not the Lord's supper. That is the reason it is difficult for you. God has already planted this truth in you. The Lord's supper is eating and drinking the Word of God correctly. (Please read: What is the Lord's Supper?)
Then you hear teachings such as I have done on this subject saying the Lord's supper is the Word of God and the way we partake of the Word of God into our lives, making needed corrections by that Word, is partaking of the Lord's supper.
You recognize this as truth because God has already put it in your heart and mind by His Spirit.
I Jn. 2 ... But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth...27But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
This is the new covenant ... God says ... For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord (the WORD): for all shall know me (the WORD), from the least to the greatest. 12For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Heb. 8

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 119:63 ... I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
I don't seek out people of this world for companionship.
I recall the words of Paul on this subject ... I Cor. 6 ... Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
The people of this world trouble us. So why would we deliberately see trouble?
Last night, I was speaking with my sound guy, David. He lives 450 miles from me. He told me he would have his worker call me and talk me through a problem. I said, "NO, I won't have this man calling me. Nor will I allow him into my house. Nor will I open his emails and read them." David wanted to know the problem with this man. I told David it has to do with Bible. This man won't stop talking about Bible and what he says to me is wrong and then I get involved in correcting and it drags me down and it doesn't help him either. If I never had TV or a sound system, I would rather do without than involve myself with this man.
This is part of "working out our own salvation" ... Phil. 2
David said he has a terrible problem with this man because he will go into a house to do work on sound equipment and argue with the homeowner over Bible. David has told him to stop this but this man will not be stopped. The problem is this man is wrong when he speaks of Bible. He is almost crazy with the subject, driven by demons. He even says he cannot sleep at night because he is thinking of friends who will go to hell. (How does this man think he knows who will go to hell? Only God knows that.)
But who I allow into my house is up to me. And I will not allow people into my house when those people trouble me.
Mt. 12 ... While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. 47Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. 48But he (Jesus) answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Meditation: Joan Boney
Jn. 14:6 ...Jesus (THE WORD) saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (THE WORD).
The WORD is the way to go.
The WORD is truth.
The Word is life.
My ceiling fan stopped working. I tried to get it fixed but electrician could not fix it. I bought a new fan and had it installed. The new fan made noise. It is in room where I work and read Bible and I just couldn't focus with the noise. Winter is coming so I knew I wouldn't need it much longer so I decided just to forget it and if I need it next year buy a new one then. After making this decision, then next morning I awoke with a plan which I believe was from God. Call John where I bought the fan and see if manufacturer would send another fan and return the one that makes noise. I heard "the Word" on the subject and I did it and it worked. They are sending a new fan. I will have to pay for installation but this will cost less than my plan would have cost.
A plumber has come twice in past week to fix same problem on commode and it looks as if it is going to break again. "Just call another plumber." The parts this plumber uses are shoddy.
THE WORD from God can be a scripture, a dream, or a direct word such as above. But when you hear THE WORD it is the way to go and it is truth and it is life.
Certainly THE WORD is Jesus ... but Jesus is also THE WORD ... and all is done by THE WORD.

Exodus 16:16 This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents. 17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less. 18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating. ..... 29 See, for that the Lord hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
God provided the food needed each day for all the children of Israel in the wilderness ... about 600,000 men beside women and children
When it was God's will for them to store up bread (on the sixth day), HE instructed them to do this.
When God did not instruct storing up bread from one day to the other, the bread bred worms and it stank.
Some kept trying to work ... trying to gather bread ... when God's instruction for them was to rest (on the seventh day).
As with the children of Israel in the wilderness, we just need to obey God. Today God leads us by HIS Spirit. If follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, there will be sufficiency ... plenty ... no lack. Trust God to provide what I need each day.
Jesus taught us to pray ... give us this day our daily bread ... God provides the physical and spiritual food we need each day
Rest in what God has told me to do. God is able to show me what, if anything, I need to do to prepare for the future. I can safely trust God to provide for me today and in the future as I follow HIS word.
Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Overcoming troubles through God
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jesus said ... These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Jn. 16:33
The computer gives trouble, the car gives trouble, the commode gives trouble, the ceiling fan stops working ... troubles ...
We call repair men. Sometimes the problem is not solved. We call another repair man. We pay double. And even then sometimes it is not solved.
God summed it up for me recently when I was having problems with one of my toilets not flushing when I pushed the handle. I was sort of fussing at the commode and I clearly heard: "Would you rather have an out house?" (NO! I wouldn't rather have an out house.)
This morning I was thinking of the hardships people went through when they didn't have these things that break.
They had to go to well to bring in water. We just turn on the faucet. They had to use oil lamps and they had to purchase oil and carry oil home. We just turn on a switch. They could not communicate with the person in the next village without going there. We can communicate instantly, for free, all over the world by the blog. And in medical things we have pain medicine and anesthetics. That alone makes me glad I live now and endure other problems. It almost makes me giddy to realize how many advantages we have now.
And above all, we who belong to God know HE will help us when we don't know what to do when something breaks down or when something is installed and does not work properly!
This morning I was dealing with ceiling fan. My ceiling fan quit working. An electrician tried to repair it but couldn't. There was a charge for the attempt and I paid for it was the right thing to do to pay this man for his labor. Then I ordered a new fan. I paid for installation. But it made a noise which disturbed me when I tried to read Bible. The electrician tried to fix the fan but it still makes the noise. Obviously it cannot be fixed. Yesterday I was thinking it would probably have to be replaced and I might wait til next year since cooler weather has come in and I might not need to use the fan much longer this year. Then this morning, clear as a bell, I awoke knowing to call John where I bought the fan and see if the manufacturer would send another fan to trade out. I would still have to pay installation but the fan might work. I really think it is God leading this way so I called as soon as the store opened and the fan manufacturer is sending a replacement fan. (Plan from God.)
Psa. 32:8 ...I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
So as long as we live on this earth we will have trouble but be of "good cheer" for Jesus has overcome and we overcome through the help HE gives us. Jn. 16:33 ..These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
And if you are fretting over lost money, don't. God will repay you. Money is certainly not worth fretting over.
Recently, when the new sound processor was installed the video was below the level of the previous processor which broke. There is a video processor I could add. Should I do this? I asked God. And if so which processor should I buy? I asked God. And who could I get to install it? I asked God.
Psalm 1 ... I didn't turn to humans and ask humans what they thought I should do ... I asked God what I should do. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
The morning after praying these things I was shown who to get to install the processor. I made an appointment to have this done. Then I set about to purchase the processor. I was going to call the manufacturer and purchase it from him directly. But I had my sound guy's name called to my attention. I asked David if he could buy this for me. He said he could and he told me which model number I need. I ordered it immediately. It came in this past week and was installed by the man called to my attention and it works great.
I knew this was the mercy of God to me. For had I tried to use the other video processor I would have been troubled each time I turned on the TV and saw the picture.
God doesn't want us troubled over these secular things.
If only we would remember to turn to God in prayer.
And another problem is the toilet which keeps breaking. Twice the plumber has been over here putting the same type part in the commode. Over this I heard, "Get another plumber."

Murmuring against God, not man
Pam Padgett ... teacher
After the children of Israel were brought out of Egypt, they found no water in the wilderness of Shur, then bitter water which they could not drink in Marah. They murmured (express discontentment, grumble, complain) against Moses.
Exodus 15:22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. 23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. 24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
Moses turned to God with the problem, and God showed him a tree which made the waters sweet ...
Exodus 15:25 And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: ...
When they came to the wilderness of Sin the children of Israel murmured because there was no food ...
Exodus 16:2 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness: 3 And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
Moses and Aaron told the people that God would give them flesh to eat in the evening and bread in the morning, that they would know that God brought them out of Egypt and that they would see the glory of the Lord. They also told the people that God heard their murmurings against HIM. Their murmurings were not against Moses and Aaron but against God ....
Exodus 16:6 And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the Lord hath brought you out from the land of Egypt: 7 And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the Lord; for that he heareth your murmurings against the Lord: and what are we, that ye murmur against us? 8 And Moses said, This shall be, when the Lord shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the Lord heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the Lord.
And God, having heard murmurings of the children of Israel, showed HIS glory to them in the cloud ...
Exodus 16:9 And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the Lord: for he hath heard your murmurings. 10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud.
The children of Israel saw God bring them out of Egypt and destroy Pharaoh and his army by HIS mighty works and power. Yet instead of trusting God to provide their needs, they murmured. Although their murmurings were toward Moses and Aaron, they were actually against God who had delivered them so wonderfully from Egypt, and who has all glory and power.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Psalm 119:52 ... I remembered thy judgments of old, O Lord; and have comforted myself.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
I find such comfort each time I think of God delivering the children of Israel from Egypt. Pharaoh was not going to outdo God. No matter what Pharaoh did, God had another way to deal with Pharaoh. God knew how to make Pharaoh let the people go.
God hardened Pharaoh's heart so after the children of Israel left, Pharaoh would chase after them. This was so Pharaoh would be destroyed.
Paul explained that it was ordained by God that Pharaoh would be destroyed.
22What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
Children of Israel proved by God
Pam Padgett ... teacher
In the second month after being delivered from Egypt, the children of Israel were led to the wilderness of Sin. They began to murmur because there was no food. God said HE would rain down bread from heaven for them, and that HE would prove (try) the children of Israel in this, testing them to see if they would obey HIS instructions ...
Exodus 16:4 Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. 5 And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
The bread God provided was left on the ground after the dew of the morning was gone ...
Exodus 16:13 ... and in the morning the dew lay round about the host. 14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. 15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the Lord hath given you to eat.
God told them to gather an omer of the bread for every man, which provided what they needed with nothing left over and no lack ...
They were also instructed to not leave any of the bread until morning. But some did not obey. The left-over bread bred worms and stank ...
Exodus 16:19 And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning. 20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.
As instructed by God, on the sixth day, they gathered twice as much, keeping what remained until the next day. Bread kept from the sixth day as God instructed did not breed worms and did not stink. ...
Exodus 16:22 And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. 23 And he said unto them, This is that which the Lord hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the Lord: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning. 24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.
On the seventh day they were to eat the bread remaining from the sixth day, rather than going to find more bread in the field ...
Exodus 16:25 And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the Lord: to day ye shall not find it in the field. 26 Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
But some went out on the seventh day to gather bread, not obeying what God had commanded, and found no bread ...
Exodus 16:27 And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none. 28 And the Lord said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws? 29 See, for that the Lord hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. 30 So the people rested on the seventh day.
Each day it was important to do what God commanded them to that day. On the first five days of a week, they were to gather what they needed that day and keep nothing over until the next day. On the sixth day they were to gather twice as much as was needed for a day, and keep part of the bread until the seventh day, when they were to rest and not gather bread.
God proved the children of Israel, seeing if they would obey his commandments. Those who obeyed had no worms or stink, and had plenty to eat all seven days of the week. Those who did not obey, leaving bread until the next day during the first five days of the week, had worms and stink; those who went out looking for bread on the seventh day found none.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Isaiah 54:17 ... No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt
condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their
righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
This promise belong to those people who belong to God. No weapon formed against us will prosper.
This is the heritage of those of us who serve God.
Weapons are often formed against me and try to prosper but in 30+ years I have never see those weapons against me prosper.
I serve God. This is my heritage.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

Trouble overcome through God
I was sort of gripping at the commode and I clearly heard: "Would you rather have an out house?" (NO!
But it made a noise which distrubed me when I tried to read Bible.
God doesn't want us troubled even for a second over these secular things.
If only we would remember to turn to God in prayer.
And another problem is the toilet which keeps breaking. Twice the plumber has been over here putting the same type part in the commode. Over this I heard, "Get another plumber."

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Ephesians 5:15 ... See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools,
but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
Circumspectly means ... wary and unwilling to take risks ... looking around you ... looking about you ... to "look" ...
Pay attention. For Jesus explains: Mt. 12 ... out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
By what they speak we know them ... By what they do they show themselves ... whether good or evil.
Do not give them the benefit of the doubt.
If the tree is corrupt the fruit will also be corrupt, says Jesus. Mt. 12 ... Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 34O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 36But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Pay attention to what people say. By their fruits you know them, by their words and their actions. We must not hear what we want to hear but we must hear what they really say for that comes from their heart and shows their heart and their concealed feelings.

Taught by the Holy Spirit
Renee Bonfield ... evangelist
Several years ago when I was a fairly new Christian, I used to listen to Christian radio. One of the ministers kept saying that Russia was going to invade the United States. At the time I believed this, and told this to other people. One day a neighbor came to my door. I told her the same thing. Right after she left I heard these words from the Holy Spirit: "It's sensationalism." Your message should be Jesus is coming, not the Russians are coming." I never told this to anyone again.

God's deliverance known beyond Egypt
Pam Padgett ... teacher
God promised to redeem HIS people from the hands of the Egyptians, and to bring the children of Israel into the land of Canaan ....
Exodus 6:2 And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord: 3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them. 4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers. 5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. 6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: 7 And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. 8 And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord.
After the children of Israel were led through the midst of the Red Sea on dry land, Moses and the children of Israel sang and spoke, declaring the power and greatness of God in destroying Pharaoh and his army...
Exodus 15:1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. 2 The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him. 3 The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name. 4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea. 5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone. 6 Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. 7 And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.
They also sang of how these great works of God would bring fear and dread on the people of lands they would would encounter as they entered, and were established in, the land God had promised to them. ...
Exodus 15:14 The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. 15 Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away. 16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O Lord, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased. 17 Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O Lord, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ
Ephesians 5:3-5 (KJV) ... But fornication, and all uncleanness, or
covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4
Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not
convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no
whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater,
hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
NASB ... Do not let immorality or any impurity or greed even be named among you, as is proper among saints; and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting...
NIV ... But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking which are out of place ...
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
My next door neighbor identifies himself as "elder" and often a church van sits in front of his house. He makes his living in a secular job but considers himself to also be a preacher.
A few days ago, I was going to mail box and his elementary school aged son was bringing out trash. The son said, "You live in that house don't you?" (He pointed at my house.) I replied that I do live there. Then he said, "You must be very rich to live in a house like that." I replied that God provides for me and that I do not even have a salary. He responded: "What's a salary?"
I knew he was simply repeating to me that which his parents were saying about me and I knew there was a form of greed working there!
Then the son said, "My dad built our house."
That was not at all true. I was living here when a contractor built the house and it was for sale. It stayed on the market several weeks or months. The contractor lowered the price and these people bought it.
The son is a liar.
All these things warn me about these neighbors although the man calls himself "elder". From time to time the postman accidentally puts his mail in my mail box and often the letters addressed to him are to "Elder" followed by his name.
Another example: It is terrible to find a person in a church group who is committing fornication. I have come across this twice in our group. Both times, I have done exactly what Paul said to do. I have put that "wicked" person away from us. I have named that person by name to our church group. We have no more to do with that person. We do not pray for that person. We do not socialize with that person. We do not eat and drink the word of God with that person. When we see a person who calls himself a "brother" in Christ doing these things, we put that person away from us just as Paul said to do.
I Cor. 5 ... Paul says ... I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
In this same section of scripture, I Cor. 5, Paul explains that a little leaven leavens the whole lump. Do not allow such to sit in the congregation among us.
Paul makes the following interesting statement: For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, 4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? I Cor. 5
