Meditation:  Joan Boney

James 1:4 ... But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

patience:
capacity to accept or tolerate delay or suffering without getting angry or upset

entire:  with no part left out ... not broken or decayed ... untouched

Not wanting anything ...

If you are patient, you feel no driving lack

When impatient, you feel a missing part making you unsettled ... captures your mind and thoughts so you can think of little else but the missing part ... drives you to come to completion so you can rest.

Patient you are at rest knowing it will eventually work out ... this is faith in God.

James 1 ... My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;  3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

In the midst of the struggle, if you feel a loss of control you can ask God for wisdom and HE will give it to you to help you calm down and endure the temptation.

Meditation: Pam Padgett

Phil. 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

supply
- make something needed or wanted available to someone
- be source of
- be adequate to satisfy
- provide with necessary amount of a resource
- fill up

need
- what is required because it is essential or very important
- required help or support
- basic necessities

rich(es)
- having a great deal of money or assets
- plentiful; abundance
- having in large amounts
- powerful / power

God has created all things, and all things are HIS.

God can and will supply my needs - satisfy what I require - food, shelter, help, support

As much as I can, I provide what my animals need.  A loving father would provide all he could for his child as well.  How much more does God provide all that we need and is able to provide all that we need.
