Jesus, THE WORD, is the living bread ...
John 1:14 ... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Jn. 1 ... In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God.
Briefly Jesus, THE WORD, was manifested as flesh. HE died so that we who are called by God and believe can be saved and have our sins forgiven and can receive the Holy Spirit.
We eat the flesh of Jesus and drink HIS blood each time we hear a scripture by HIS Spirit and focus on that word and apply that word in a proper way to our lives. This is the Lord's supper.
