Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

1 Corinthians 10:13-14 ... There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

Jesus went through everything we go through on this earth, yet HE did so without sin.  Jesus sits at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.  Romans 8:34 ... Therefore Jesus knows how we feel in the problem since He went through all problems.  He is able to help us.   Certainly as we turn to God in prayer in the temptations and troubles, God helps us by His Spirit.

We are not the only one experiencing the problem. We read these temptations, trials, are "common" to man.  Other humans are going through that which we go through.  But Jesus is able to help us and understand us.

Regardless of the problems, the solution is God.  We turn to God and wait for HIM to bring the answer to our minds.  In all things, large and small, this is the case.

All we need in the midst of the temptation or problem is God's way of escape.

Prayer is the first step.  (We pray ... it is not a matter of turning to others to get them to pray for us ... We pray!)

Then waiting on God to reveal the way of escape and recognizing the way of escape when it come is the next step.

When I lived in Clovis, NM (USA), I had a very small kitchen.  My mother was alive at that time and when we both got into that kitchen we ended up running over each other.  I kept asking God if there was a way to take care of this problem.  Each time the problem happened, I would pray again.  About 4 years passed and one day I walked into the kitchen and it was like a light went on.  I saw the answer to the kitchen problem.  The main problem was the placement of the refrigerator.  There was a walk in pantry in the kitchen.  I moved that pantry to the attached garage and put the refrigerator where the pantry had been.  This changed the traffic area and we never had a problem again.  I knew God opened my eyes to see the solution but I did have to wait in this case for several years.

Recognizing when the wisdom is from God ... James 3:17 ... But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

If you are going through strife or envy, know to expect every evil work.  James 3  ... So you must pray, forgiving people and you must stop the strife.

And you must be willing for the will of God to be done in the matter at hand.  When you stop and set your heart this way, you are in a good position to hear the will of God in the issue at hand.
