Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
There are countless numbers of ministers today all over the world who come in the name of Jesus but do not have the Spirit of God.
These are men and women who have a very religious type of personality and really want to do good but they do not have the Spirit of God and the call of God is not on their lives.
This is described in Jude ... But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18How that they told you there should be mockers (imitators) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
They attend seminaries and Bible schools to learn to do the work of the ministry. They are equipped with all manner of religious adornment without the Spirit of God. We see it in all forms of church groups, protestant and catholic ... Countless numbers ... They set out to feed the poor with natural food ... They give clothing to the poor ... They work to help orphans ... They set up works to help elderly people ... They do all manner of fleshly charities ... But they do not have the Spirit of God.
Of course they cannot be real ministers of God without having the Spirit of God and the call of God.
They attract fleshly people by fleshly ways.
They are like the Pharisees and Sadducees Jesus dealt with.
They are everywhere.
And it fits what Jesus told us would happen in the last days ...
Mt. 24 ... And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I (Jesus) am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Many will come this way and they will deceive many.
This warning was given by Jesus and is repeated by me right now: Beware of them ... Let no man deceive you.
Some come speaking in tongues in the church but they still do not have the Spirit. So don't let this fool you.
The Spirit of God in us does following: (Jn. 14:26 & Jn. 16:13)
- guides us into all truth
- reminds us of everything Jesus has said
- teaches us all things
- shows us things to come
These ministers who do not have the Spirit will try to copy, imitate, ministers who have the Spirit.
Recently I received email from a minister asking me to help him to understand what I say. I told him I could not do that. Only God can give us understanding. I suspect he was one of the well-meaning, self appointed ministers who does not have the Spirit of God and neither is such called by God. He just wants to do religious works. There are a great many like that today.
