Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Jesus describes the Holy Spirit (the Holy Ghost) as a comforter and truth.
Jn. 14:26 ... But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Jn. 16:13 ... Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
I looked into the definitions of comforter and truth ...
comfort is basically a relief ...
Truth at first may not feel like a good thing but it is always a good thing. Humans are naturals at lying and refusing to see truth.
Truth
- actual; existing in fact rather than in imagination
- right, genuine
- accurate, exact
- honest
- without deception; without hypocrisy
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. God is light and there is no darkness in Him.
We have to be willing to see the truth, to speak the truth, to live in truth.
