We share things God has shown us and done for us that others of God might see God's works and have fellowship with us and their joy be made full through our sharing.
We are like John and all the servants going before John in that we share those things God has done.
Rev. 1 ... his servant John: 2Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
I Jn. 1 ... That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 3That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 4And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
Rev. 1 ... And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father;
