Revelation 2:12-17

And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write;

These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

We cannot allow false doctrines nor sin in the congregation.

If someone among the congregation is committing sins of fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner;  Paul said to put such out of the congregation and not to "eat" with them, not to keep company with such a person.  Paul calls a Christian who does such sins as a "wicked person."

I Cor. 5 ... 1It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife. 2And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

7Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:  8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?  13But them that are without God judgeth.

Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

We are supposed to judge the church in these sins.  We are not supposed to judge the world but we are supposed to judge the church, instructs Paul.

Unfortunately many pastors are extortioners.  They practice extortion when they use a scripture to try to force you to give money that you do not have.  I've seen this done in churches I have attended.  They try to get money through fear of what will happen to you if you fail to give.  This is extortion.

If you attend a church where they want to pray and counsel fornicators or drunkards rather than heeding Paul's instruction to put such a one out of the congregation, then that is a church you should not stay in.  When the leadership of a church group goes against scripture, depart from that group.

Pay attention to the instruction in Revelation 2, cited at top of this writings.   We just cannot afford to go along with sin when Paul tells us to deal with these sins.

Jimmy Swaggart is an example of one who should have been put out of the church.  He did a tearful "repentance" saying he had sinned against the church when caught with prostitute.  The Assembly of God group did not put him out of the church.  Instead they prayed for him and "counseled" him.  They disregarded Paul's instruction from I Cor. 5, which is the inspired word from God.  A short time later, Swaggart was caught again with a prostitute.  This time Swaggart said, "It is flat none of your business."  (reported on Wickapedia ... see Jimmy Swaggart)  Swaggart is still preaching today on TV and radio so far as I know.
