When 2 or 3 of us are discussing things of God, Jesus is in the midst of us

Mt. 18:20 ... Jesus says ...

where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

"HIS name" is the Word of God.

When we (by 2's or 3's) start talking of the Word of God, we can be assured Jesus is there in the "midst" of us.  This can be when we speak on the phone or in person.  The main thing is "when we speak of things of God", Jesus is there in the midst of us.  This is the church.  We are the church.

Concerning assembling together ..  Heb. 10 ... And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Each time you read the blog, we "assemble together".  Each time you speak with another born again person and encourage one another by the Word of God, you assemble together.

The reason for assembling together is to provoke one another unto love and to good works ... and to exhort one another.  Exhort means to urge earnestly by advice or warning.

Everything we write in this blog is done because the Holy Spirit has reminded us of the subject therefore we share it exhorting one another in the way of God.  The sharing of testimonies, of scriptures, of dreams build up the church and edify the church in godliness.

I have thought many times of the apostle Paul and how much he would have loved to have internet where he could exhort the church continually and he could even exhort the church all over this world.

Paul wanted to write to the church.  Paul wrote this to Timothy.  "Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me: 10For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. 11Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry. 12And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus. 13The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments."  (Paul wanted to write to the church!)
