Let no man deceive you ... do not deceive yourself

Deception increases with the increase of iniquity in the end time leading to the judgment of God and the wrath of God and the Day of the Lord.

Jesus said:  Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I (Jesus) am Christ; and shall deceive many.  Mt. 24  

They will come saying "Jesus is Lord" and because they say that people who are Christian will listen to them and many will be deceived.

II Jn. 7 ... 7For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.


Worldly people are filled with deception for they are not born again and by nature lie and the devil lie and deception is a way of life and is practiced constantly and people go in the wisdom of this world and fill themselves with the wisdom of this world by TV, newspapers, text books, and words of other worldly people.

deceive:  

- to cause to believe something that is not true, typically in order to gain some personal advantage
- give an untrue impression
- fail to admit to oneself that something is true
- ensnare / catch
