Women instructed to dress modestly

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

I see something on TV that is horrible to me.  Over and over women announcers are appearing with skirts cut above their knees and they stand there brazenly with their legs spread apart, usually shouting their voices above men on the programs.  (ESPN is especially bad about showing such.)

This deeply grieves me to see women this way.

Later I was reading Bible and saw what Paul had to say about the way women dress ...

I Tim. 2:9 ... In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel,

When I saw this scripture, I realized what I feel about this matter has been put in my heart by God and is not just my own opinion.  It really matters when God says something.

Modest is defined as follows:  concerning a woman ... dressing or behaving so as to avoid impropriety or indecency, especially to avoid attracting sexual attention ... not revealing or emphasizing the figure

Paul goes on to say ...  with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;  10But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

Prov. 31 ... Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. 11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. 12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
