Joshua 1 ... God said to Joshua ... There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6Be strong and of a good courage
From the moment I first saw Joshua 1:5, I knew it would be exactly the same with me ... no man would ever be able to stand against me ... many have tried through the years but in each case the Holy Spirit in me rose up with words they were unable to overcome.
Lk. 21 ... 14Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: 15For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
And the same thing applies to you ... The Holy Spirit in us rises up to overcome their reasonings. Let HIM speak through you.
Heb. 4 ... 12For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
The Word of God cuts through the flesh of man.
Isa. 54:17 ... No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
We think on the Word of God day and night ... we speak ... it cuts through flesh ... they hate us and speak evil of us for speaking the Word of God because they are evil ... "wherein are they to be accounted of"? ... what matters is the Word of God.
Isa. 2:22 ... Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?
Exalt the Word of God and let it do HIS work.
