Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
People of this world try to accomplish things, usually daily. They pride themselves in that which they have accomplished "today". They often tell others all the things they have done since they awoke this morning.
Recently a woman from ATT called me wanting to make some installation changes in the lines to my house. As she spoke to me, she said, "Do you have any plans for the week end?" I hesitated briefly, and then I replied: "I try to do daily what I believe God wants me to do and usually I don't know ahead of time what HE is going to have me do for the week-end, therefore I usually do not take thought for tomorrow but focus on today."
Later I thought of this phone call. This morning when I awoke, I didn't know I would be getting a call from ATT so how could I plan for it? And so it is with tomorrow. We don't usually know what is going to happen tomorrow. We just try to live as we believe God wants us to live today and tomorrow will take care of itself since we keep living each day connected to God.
Col. 3 ... For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
If a person of this world examined my life, they couldn't see much life. I don't go anywhere. I don't do anything (except buy food daily). People aren't coming into my house. I'm just "alone" here, but not alone for I talk with God and read Bible and do these writings and read secular books for entertainment and watch TV when I can stand it which isn't very much during the day. I'm very active with God daily but most people wouldn't see that. It would look to them as if I have no life ... no attending activities, no children swarming into my house, no friends in Lubbock, no going out to events ... but my life daily is full though unplanned by me.
My life is hidden from the people of the world on this earth.
