Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
This past week, the football season began in USA. My TV provider is fighting with the NBC network over money so we were unable to get the game on Direct TV.
At first, I thought I didn't care. But as the game day drew closer I began to think of other ways I could see the game.
I could have gone to cafe and eaten my evening meal and watched on their TV screen. But this would have been hard for me since I do not eat that late in the evening.
I considered trying to set my my Kindle mobile device to stream the game and I checked about doing this but I couldn't make it work.
I even considered purchasing another mobile notebook and having the men who sell the device set streaming up for me. I was sure they could do this. But I wasn't certain I wanted the device for my normal reading. I'm currently happy with the Kindle device which I use daily.
Game day came and I had no solution. I was doing nothing at all to find a solution and had given up trying.
About 3:30 in the afternoon, an idea came to me. Why didn't I go to Best Buy and see if they sold the old style rabbit ears that we used to use for TV. I was trying to reach a local station. I went to Best Buy and explained what I was trying to do and they had rabbit ears for about $ 9.00 which they said would work fine to bring in local stations. It was very easy to hook up to the TV. It worked very well. Reception was excellent. I watched about 3/4 of the game and when I grew tired, I turned it off and went to bed.
God's solutions are often very simple.
And even in the very little things that don't really amount to much at all I've seen that God cares about us having those things.
