Psalm 34:19

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

The "righteous" are afflicted when they see sins of this world.  Just like Lot was afflicted when he saw those things they did in Sodom, we, who belong to God, are afflicted when we see those things being done today by people of this world.

When I turn on TV, I am afflicted by ungodly women who want to expose themselves with nakedness.  They wear their skirts above their knees and expose themselves as much as is possible for praise of ungodly men of this world.  And society today approves such.

I am afflicted when I hear of a woman being "engaged" to be married and being several months pregnant.

I am afflicted when people begin to praise other people.

I am afflicted when I hear them say what a good person that man was, again praising humans, exalting humans.

All these ways are opposite from the way of God shown us in the Bible by the Holy Spirit of truth.

There are many afflictions for the righteous.  We cry out to God each time we see these sins.  We groan in agony over these sins of this world.

We learn to rejoice in our grief for we also know that without having the Holy Spirit in us we would not recognize these sins.

Because of these sins, the wrath of God will come at the appointed time.  And we see the sins increase blatantly and we know the increase of sin shows we draw nearer to that wrath of God that will come on all the world for the sin.

I Thess. 5 ... 1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Because we are of light, of God, we recognize the way of God.  And we recognize the way of darkness.

6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
