Heb. 8:10

Pam Padgett ... teacher

Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

After I was born again, I no longer thought of praying to statues, as I had been taught to do since childhood in the Catholic church.  I prayed directly to God who is a spirit.

There was also a thirst in me to read the Bible, something the Catholic church had taught we should not do.

At the time these changes were made in me, I didn't know that we're told in the Bible not to worship images (Leviticus 26:1).  Nor had I been taught that God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24).

And I didn't know that scripture is profitable for us ...  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Timothy 3:16)

I believe God put these things, HIS laws, in my mind and heart.
