Those who accuse us wrongly

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

This week I had a dream about the Catholic woman who struck out at me for sending her scriptures which showed the conflict between Bible and the Catholic doctrine.

In this dream, there was an overpass, the kind of overpass you see at train tracks which allows people to walk over the tracks and by-pass trains.  Betsy was walking on that overpass and I was standing a few feet from the overpass where she was walking and I saw her.  Then on the other side as she was descending, she fell and was lying on the concrete.  In the background a huge church building with double spires was burning and the fire was wildly out of control.  There was no way that church building would be saved.  It would be completely destroyed by the fire.

As I was thinking of this dream, I was reminded of the following scripture.

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The people who "accuse us before God" do so each time they share what we did with other people.  God hears when they accuse us with their talk before others.

In the early 80's I dated a man at our church.  He was a divorced man.  He came to my meeting when I was on radio.  He asked me to pray about our marrying.  I had gone to lunch with him and his mother.

As I recall the situation, I saw those scriptures on divorce/remarriage.

Mt. 5:32 ...  32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery:and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

I shared these with Bob and began asking him about his previous wife to see if he was clear to remarry.  Also I probably sent him a cassette tape with scriptures explaining what the Bible said.

A few days later, a uniformed police officer appeared at my apartment door.  He was Highland Park Police which is like Beverly Hills in California ...  an independent community in the heart of Dallas... very upscale.

This police officer said Bob had come to them to complain, telling them that I was harassing him with preaching.  They were ordering me to stop this.

The officer was very shocked when I told him the message I sent was on cassette tape.

The officer began questioning me about myself.  When he learned I had taught at SMU (Southern Methodist University) which was a very highly respected university located in the heart of the Highland Park district, and when he learned I have an earned doctorate, his approach to me was much less hostile.

Also he was surprised to learn that I had dated Bob and was now concerned over marrying Bob because I had seen scripture on divorce/remarriage and Bob was divorced.  I was trying to determine if Bob had a scriptural divorce.

Yet he commanded me to send no more messages to Bob.

I replied that if God gave me a message for Bob I'd have to send it to Bob.  The policeman replied, "Then you'd better hope God doesn't give you any more messages." And with that the policeman left.

Why would Bob go to police with this?  Why not just throw the cassette away?

Because Bob wanted to harm me and wanted to get even with me for telling him about these scriptures and for making him think of his divorce and the reason for the divorce.

Bob was a big church goer ... attending many types of churches.  It was my impression he wanted to be a minister.

We lived in the same neighborhood.  A few days later, I was going to drug store and Bob was standing there at entrance to the store.  He smiled and began greeting me in a friendly way.  I walked past him and I said, "Curse you Bob Irby."  I got into car and drove away.

I have no doubt Bob cursed himself by what he did.

I've had much accusation against me over the messages I have spoken which I believe were Bible and also I've been accused by individuals for that which I have done or not done which pertained to Bible.

Through everything, God would give me information, in form of dreams and scripture, to enable me to endure and even to continue in the way God set before me.

Usually those people who accuse me and attack me and complain about me are church people.

Recently in the Catholic woman attack, God gave me the following scripture to sustain me.

Mt. 5 ... 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad:for great is your reward in heaven:for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Several years ago, I was given the following dream.  I was taken to a place and was walking over a bridge.  A cute little fat man was standing there on the bridge.  He said something to me and used my name.  I replied, "How do you know my name?"  He replied:  "Everyone here knows your name."

Then I was in a room where a few men were gathered around a long library type conference table.  On top of the table were several magnificent precious stones.  They were examining these stones.  Then one man spoke up and said:  "Then it is settled.  We'll go help her."  I realized these were angels of God. The magnificent precious stones were those persons who belong to God.

When we share truth of God, no matter what they do to us to resist, they will fall and they will not overcome us.

I Peter 4 ...  12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ (The Word of God), happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you:on their part HE is evil spoken of, but on your part HE is glorified.

15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to HIM in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
