Matthew 12:25 ... And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them,
Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every
city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

Mt. 12:22-24 ... Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. 23And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? 24But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
Jesus knew their thoughts ... and Jesus responded to them according to their thoughts. And the wisdom of Jesus was too much for them.

The word of God often brings division ... the righteous cannot afford to go along with things contrary to the word of God and yet the Word of God often brings division to households.
Is it wise to hold back the word of God to keep peace ...
The word of God divides. If you are the righteous, the Word of God has already divided you from those in your household who do not know God.
You might hold back the word of God, but you are still divided because God divided you when HE gave you HIS word.
Lk. 12 ... Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: 52For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. 53The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
