Hebrews 10:35-37 ... 35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which
hath great recompence of reward. 36 For ye have need of patience, that,
after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. 37 For
yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not
tarry.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Examples of believing past the ability to see are Abraham and Joseph.
God told Abraham he would make his seed to be like the sand of the sea in number and like the stars in the sky in number. Abraham believed God and held to this concept. But Abraham didn't see it come to pass for we today are part of the fulfillment of that promise to Abraham. We, who are of God, are children of that promise are each of us today added to the number presented in concept to Abraham ...
Therefore that they without us should not be made perfect. Heb. 11:40
Joseph knew, by faith, God would deliver the children of Israel from Egypt. Therefore Joseph instructed that when they were delivered, they take his bones with them. Gen. 50:24 ... And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. 25And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.
Abraham and Joseph believed God. They believed God even to the grave. Even after their own lives, they believed God would do what God said HE would do.
