1 Peter 5:5-7 ... Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the
elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with
humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 6
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may
exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth
for you.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Yesterday Pam Padgett shared a verse of scriptures and then she spoke about considering various things God had done in her life recently to help her.
When I read this, I stopped and began thinking of things God has done recently for me to help me.
(I believe this is properly attending to the word of God spoken in these exhortation and also it is submitting one to another with humility. Pride might keep one from doing this thinking God can speak to "you" directly.)
And as we read the above scripture we are exhorted to "cast all our care on HIM, for HE cares for us."
We should stop right now and do that, examining ourselves: Do I have any concern? If any comes to mind, stop and pray over that concern. Be honest with God. Pour your heart out if you have any concern.
