Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Mt. 5:13 ... Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14Ye are the light of the world.
We, who belong to God, are the "salt" of the earth ... we hold the keys to the kingdom by that word given us by God.
If we fail to speak, we can lose our "savour" ... "flavor" ... lose spice, lose sharpness, become dull, be watered down to nothing ...
If we fail to speak, we can become "good for nothing" ... sharing nothing ...
And we can be cast out and "trodden under the foot of men" ...
- having men rule over you
- getting wrong job
- keeping wrong job
- having wrong friends
I
have 2 very good examples of being spared by speaking up. I was
engaged to a man in Lubbock about 9 years ago. One day I spoke up
something that I believe to be from the Spirit of God and when I spoke
he left me. It would have been disastrous had we married.
Pam
has same thing happen. She was engaged and a few days before the
wedding she spoke up against adultery and this man left her because his
son (or daughter) who was divorced was about to remarry a divorced
person. Pam was spared.
We were both spared "being trodden under the foot of men." Mt. 5:13

Comments by Pam Padgett:
Salt brings out, exposes, flavor in what is salted. When we speak what God wants spoken, it
often exposes truth not seen before about a matter or a person.
