The word "Christmas" not in Bible

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

According to the dictionary, Christmas means "Christ's-mass" ... Dictionary also says this about Christmas: The celebratory customs associated in various countries with Christmas have a mix of pagan, pre-Christian, Christian, and secular themes and origins.

It is something set up by man and not commanded in Bible by God.

The word "Christmas" is not in the Bible at all.

Christmas is one of the main idols set up by man.  By the use of the word "mass" we think of the mass of the Catholic Church.  The Catholic Church is filled with man's idols, with carved images of the people they designate as "saints" to whom they attribute special powers and they teach their people to pray to dead people such as Mary.  All this is abomination and contrary to teaching of the Bible which is basis for all Christians.

idol:  an image or representation of a god used as an object of worship ... form set up to represent a god.

When Christmas is used in terms of  religion it is a very fleshly representation with physical objects trying to draw people to thinking of Christ and God.

But we come to God by the Spirit and not by the flesh.

Christmas is a "form", and image, but not real in terms of God.

You can try to attach God's name to a feast or object or season but that is only man doing a work and it will not work in terms of a true religious experience.

To to these things of Christmas and Easter in the name of God is to set up a physical type idol representing God and Christ.

We, who worship God and belong to God, must do so in Spirit and in truth.  We cannot add our own ideas or support the ideas set up by man to "worship".

Jesus says ... 23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.  Jn. 4

To try to participate in "religious" things when they are not set up by God in the Bible is to add pollution into your own life.

Paul told us that evil would get worse and worse as we go along in time ... II Tim. 3 ... 13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

We prove all things by the Holy Scriptures and through prayer and the Holy Spirit.

14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

If we belong to God, the truth is as follows:

Col. 3 ... 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
