never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

In verses 28 and 29 the KJV translators added the word "man". By leaving out this addition we see that nothing and no one is able to pluck us from the hand of God. For example, without this addition, verse 28 would read
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall
never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand.
Nothing and no one is able to pluck us from the hand of God.
