Danger: This Christmas hype is very strong

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

You may think you are immune to the Christmas hype and feelings of depression that come from such, but you should beware, for this is much stronger than you might think.  Everywhere is displayed what life should be, so far as humans and merchandisers of goods for sale, are concerned.  Most likely none of us really measure up to the hype and therefore feelings of being deprived often try to sneak in.

The hype is everywhere ... television, commercials on television, people speaking to us, displays in grocery and department stores ... These feelings have a way of being very subtil and then a little down feeling starts.  You may feel you are somehow lacking.  It probably came from all the Christmas thoughts.

Christmas is built on fantasy, not reality.

Reality is scripture in Bible.

Psalm 23 ... 1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.   3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Psalm 84 ...   11For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Phil. 4 ... 19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Phil. 3 ... 13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Col. 3 ... 1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Christmas is not mentioned in the Bible.  Christmas is something set up by man.  When man sets up something problems often are by-products of the fleshly good man wants to do.

There is none good but God, says Jesus.   Mt. 19:17

  • You cannot afford to build your house on a false foundation.  Christmas is a false foundation cloaked in works of man.
