Man baptizes in water ... Jesus baptizes in Holy Ghost

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Mt. 3:11 ... John the Baptist says ... I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Man baptizes in water ... but only Jesus (God) can give us the Holy Spirit.

Many in church groups today have been baptized in water by man by their own will.  This does not automatically give them the Holy Spirit.

I have had countless experiences with man and women who say they are Christian, being baptized in water, but when I share scripture by the Holy Spirit those same people show themselves to be lifeless, blank, having no understand of that spoken by the Spirit of God and showing no interest in that spoken by the Spirit of God.

Several years ago, God gave me the following dream.  There was a war going on and everyone on both sides were dressed alike.  God gave us a password.  When we spoke that word, we knew which were in our army.

Both sides claim to be Christian.

It is spoken of in Jude as follows:

Jude ... 17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18How that they told you there should be mockers (imitators) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

These "mockers" are like mockingbirds who copy the sounds of other birds ... thus "mock" (imitate).

They do what seems to them to be godly.  They pick out people who seem religious.  They copy those people.

Thus they "separate themselves" in sensual (fleshly) ways but they do not have the Spirit of God though they go through the various rituals of church groups... water baptism and such.

This is explained in the following:

Mt. 13 ... 24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this.  The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Those who have not the Spirit are a little off, like a radio station that is just a little off and static results.  The real person of God tries to help but no matter what they continue a little off.  That is because they do not have the Spirit of God and only Jesus (God) can give them HIS Spirit.  Their religion is of their own thinking.  They copy (imitate) religious people in fleshly ways.  They are not born again.

Jn. 3:3 ... Jesus says ... Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

They try to see.  They try to be religious.  But they just can't see.  We, who are of God, know they are off and we know they can't understand when we speak though they present a "form" of godliness, an image of godliness.  But it is like an image in a mirror.  It is not real.  It is only an image.

Paul speaks of it in the following.  Here he is speaking of church people, but church people without the Spirit of God.  (those trying to be religious)

II Tim. 3 ... This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

It is only by the Spirit of God that we can know the will of God.

I Cor. 2 ... 9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
