We each face various afflictions ... things which cause suffering or pain of some kind ... which come in many forms such as a physical problem, fears, attacks by others, concerns. No matter the problem, God knows what we need and how to help us according to His will in the matter.
While thinking about God helping us no matter what the affliction,
the Holy Spirit reminded of a concern and also a minor physical problem I have been trying to ignore although they are each causing a type of suffering. I turned to God with
them, asking for His help. It was as if a weight I wasn't aware of
started to lift as I turned to God with these things, knowing He will help me.
The various things that afflict us weigh us down if we try to ignore them instead of turning to God.
