When we are born again God changes us, and gives us the Holy Spirit. Whereas we once cared only about things of this world and following our own will, we
begin caring about what God wants us to do and things of God and have a thirst for His word.
And throughout our lives God continues to change us, conforming us to His word.
When we consider how God has changed us and continues to change us, knowing this is not of
ourselves but because God has chosen us to be His children and changes us by His power, it brings great joy and gratefulness to God.
