What trumpet will sound prior to the second coming of Jesus. What will be the sign of the end times?
Look for deception in the church.
Mt. 24 ... And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
In the past few months, we have seen both a false prophet and a false teacher. In each case, we were deceived briefly. But in both cases their falseness was revealed to us by their fruits. The false prophet came correcting wrong doers in the church while she was committing fornication. The false teacher came teaching things that were not in the Bible. (That is what a false teacher does ... teaches false thing... that is what makes him a false teacher.)
Watch for such things. When you see people like this, depart from them immediately. It is not a matter of a mistake which they would have you believe. These are not people of God. They do not realize they are not of God. They just think they made a mistake and they think they should be forgiven. But this is not the case. They will get no better. They do not belong to God. They are described in Jude as follows:
Jude ... But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18How that they told you there should be mockers (imitators) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
A mockingbird listens to other birds and mocks them ... copies them ... making sounds like the other birds.
This is the way these false prophets and false teachers are. And they are very good at their imitations.
The false prophet who came to us was so good at her imitation that one of
our real prophets said she sounded just like me. But in a few weeks, she
revealed that she was committing fornication. She sent an email which I
did not read for when I recognized what she was doing I wanted no part of her
high sounding words.
The false teacher knew more scripture than anyone I have ever met. He seemed like a pastor. I was completely take in for a few hours. Then he began to speak things that are not in the Bible. He was a false teacher speaking false things about scripture. He was very fleshly and would easily take in Christians who are fleshly. And even with those who are not fleshly he was impressive at first because he knew so much scripture. But he misused scripture and showed no real grief when I showed him his misuse of scripture.
Paul tells us in the end time, we will see more and more deception in the church.
II Tim. 3 ... But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Paul says these deceivers will have a "form of godliness" ... It will be inside the church itself.
Jesus warned us about the same type of thing in the last days ... Mt. 24:5
What I speak here is the sound of a trumpet ... Awake and be alert to these false teachers in the churches... And when you see them flee from them ... I do not open their emails though usually they send several emails after I confront them. I have an assignment from God to exhort the church and I am careful to keep myself in a position to exhort the church. I cannot be striving with these false prophets and false teachers and exhort the church. I put them away from me when I recognize what they are doing. Often they commit a sin unto death for they make ways to continue in their sins even after appearing to repent over the sins. This is a sin unto death.
