Psalm 125:5 ... As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the
Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall
be upon Israel.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
The apostle Paul explained: Romans 9 ... For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
Many go forth at various churches and are baptized. Many are not called by God. They are not convicted of sin by the Holy Spirit. They just don't want to go to hell so they join a church by their own flesh. Some want to please their relatives so they go forward and join a church by their own flesh. But only those to whom God speaks by His Spirit, revealing Himself, are of God. They are then given the Spirit of God.
Romans 8:14 ... For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Most in churches are born of their flesh and not the Spirit. They become workers of iniquity with their many good works born of their flesh and not the Spirit.
Many say they have the Spirit of God but by their fruit we know them.
Often these persons are their own god, trying to follow scripture by their own thinking. They look for humans to follow. They do not understand following the Spirit of God because they have another spirit that imitates the Spirit of God. They do not know they follow another spirit.
But when we have the Spirit of God leading us, we aren't hunting for a scripture by our mind. Rather a scripture will be brought to our memory by the Spirit of God ... Thus fitting what Jesus said about the Spirit of God in the following passages:
Jn. 14:26 ... But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Jn. 16:13 ... Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Recently I received an email from a pastor. He said, "May you win many souls." I don't think he understands that we do not "win souls". God adds to the church those who should be saved. (Acts 2:47)
Jesus said: No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. Jn. 6:44
We, who are called of God, simply go forth speaking that which God gives us and those appointed to salvation believe. I Cor. 1:21 ... it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
Salvation is of God ... yet God uses us as HE wills in the work. We get to participate but it is not us but God that draws the appointed to Jesus.
