Peril in the last days

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

II Tim. 3 ... This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

One of the things Paul said would happen to cause the peril is blasphemy.

Blasphemy is defined as:  speaking irreverently about God or sacred things.

Ministers often do this when they take up offerings.  They often use scriptures to pry money from people making people feel guilty if they do not give.  They misuse that 100-fold return scripture to reach covetous people in the congregation making them think if they give they will get 100-fold return for their money.  That scripture has nothing at all to do with giving offerings.  That scripture pertains to those called by God who follow God giving up people and things on this earth to do the will of God.  Mt. 19 ... Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? 28And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

When you misuse the word of God this way, you cause blasphemy against the word of God for you cause some to hate the word of God when it does not come to pass as described by the minister, and you cause others to mock the word of God when it does not come to pass as described by the minister.

Any misuse of the word of God is blasphemy against the word of God.

It is a fearful thing to handle the word of God.

We who are of God cherish the word of God.  We are very careful in the way we use the word of God so the Word is honored by all.

These ministers who misuse the word of God for their own gain put themselves into terrible positions and will come to a fearful end.
