Isaiah 26:3-4 ... Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is
stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the Lord for
ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:
Exhoration: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
Trusting in the Lord has to do with trusting in the Word (which is the Lord) which is given you by the Spirit of God in the matter at hand.
Concerning the Word being the Lord ... Jn. 1 ... In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
So the Word given us by the Spirit of God is "The Lord" ... and must reign over us if we belong to God.
When we have a problem and turn to God in prayer and have "a word" called to our mind, believing in that Word and "staying on " that Word keeps us in a state of perfect peace.
The WORD is Jesus made flesh ... You cannot separate Jesus from the Word for HE is the Word. And the Word is Jesus.
You cannot follow Jesus by going opposite to the WORD.
You cannot love God and go opposite to the WORD.
John said ... I Jn. 2 ... And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
