Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

John 6:33 ... For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

Mt. 16 ... When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist:  some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

No man revealed this truth to Peter.  God revealed to Peter that Jesus is the Son of God.  This is the revealed word of God and it is upon that word revealed by God that the gates of hell will not stand against.  The word revealed by God is the rock.  The church are those to whom that word from God is revealed.

The bread of God is HE, Jesus, THE WORD,   which comes down from God today through His Spirit.  We eat that bread, THE WORD, and believe THAT WORD, and we do actions appropriate to THAT WORDThis is the Lord's Supper.

It is God who gives us understanding.  No man can make us understand.  It is as God chooses to reveal something to us that we understand.

Recently an individual wanted me to help him to understand.   He wanted to ask me questions.  I stopped him.  Understanding is from God.  All I can do is speak the word I believe to be from the Spirit of God and God will have to open your understanding of that Word if HE chooses to do so.

If we don't understand, we have to turn to God in prayer and if God chooses to give us understanding HE will do so.  We simply ask and wait.  But no man can cause us to understand.  If God reveals a word to us by His Spirit on the issue at hand we will understand.  In the meantime we pray ... we read the Bible ... we focus on that which stands out to us and apply it to our lives in appropriate ways.
