Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Paul said ... This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. II Tim 3
One of the perils Paul spoke of was "incontinent" ...
That means: without restraint
An example of this is the young woman who was correcting the church while she was committing fornication. When I expressed horror to her at what she dared to do, she replied: "Was what I wrote too personal?"
This is an example of a woman without restraint ... incontinent.
We see this constantly in the world. Horrible examples appear on TV of lack of restraint. It seems it is getting worse.
But this lack of restraint is in the church. And in II Tim. 2, Paul was writing about the church for he said they would have a "form of godliness" v. 5.
This is just one of the perils of the last days.
