Hebrews 11:6 ... But without faith it is impossible to please him: for
he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder
of them that diligently seek him.
Exhortation: (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)
I find so many people do not have faith in their own prayers and they go about asking other people to pray for them. If they had faith that God would hear their prayers then why would they have to get another person to pray for them in the same matter which they prayed? The truth is the person who does this does not have faith in God and they do not believe God will hear them so they seek others to help them get God to do what they want God to do. But a real person of God will not be drawn into such a thing and will not pray when another person does this.
When we pray according to the will of God we know God hears us and when God hears us we know we have that which we ask of HIM.
And Jesus taught us to pray in secret that we would be rewarded openly by God.
Mt. 6 ... And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
I receive many emails from "pastors" who have a subject listed on their email of "Please pray for us". I always wonder "why?" ... Don't you have faith to pray?
I do not open these emails. I just delete them unread.
If a pastor does not believe God hears him when he prays, I do not plan to pray.
