Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

John 5:21 ... For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

The Son, Jesus Christ, sends HIS Spirit, The Holy Spirit, to each person chosen by God and causes us to be "quickened", made alive.  We are continually raised from the dead by Jesus through His Spirit as we live on this present earth.

There are many references in the Bible to "trumpets" ... There is a voice like a trumpet.  When God put me on radio in 1980, I heard a voice like a trumpet giving me the call letters to radio station.  I was broadcasting within a week from hearing this trumpet voice.  The voice sounded in my ear as I slept.

We see that when Jesus returns there will be the "trump" of God sounded.  I Thess. 4 ... But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Warnings are often referred to as sounding a trumpet ... warning the people to awaken and take certain action.

For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle? 9So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air. I Cor. 14

What is the "trumpet" sounding today?  What is the sign of the end time and the return of Jesus? What should we expect to see?

DECEPTION in the church ...

Mt. 24 ... And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

The first thing Jesus named as a sign of the end of the world and the sign of HIS coming is deception in the church circles.  They will come in the name of Jesus deceiving many.

Paul also warned us of an increase in deception in the church as we grow closer to the end and closer to the return of Jesus.

II Tim. 3 ... Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away...But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. (verses 5 & 13)

This deception and seduction was going to happen inside the church ... notice these deceivers would have a "form of godliness" ... they would come in name of Jesus... they would appear to be one of us ... they would deceive and be deceived by their own words.

Twice this year, we have been briefly deceived.  First by a false prophet.  Then by a false teacher. Their fruits gave them away.  The one who was a false prophet was correcting the church while she committed fornication.  The false teacher came quoting lots of scripture but teaching things that were not in the Bible.  When we know the Bible we will question things brought to us that are not in the Bible.  And we will know them by their fruits.  When they speak things not in the Bible they speak false things and therefore are false teachers.  They did not just make a mistake.  They speak falsely because their real father is the devil, the father of lies.  God did not give them understanding because they do not belong to God.  Often they belong to church groups since childhood.  They copy the real believers.  But when they speak they are always a little off like a radio station that is slightly out of tune.  These are the mockers spoken of in Jude.

Jude ... These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; 13Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever...their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage. 17But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18How that they told you there should be mockers (imitators) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

If you belong to God and have the Spirit of God watch out for these deceivers in the church.  Often they are pastors and other ministers.

If you hear them speak things that are wrong, don't just think they made a mistake.  They are deceivers in the church.

I've never yet had one of these show grief over his misuse of scripture.

Flee from such people.

This is an end-time trumpet ... deception in the church.
