Matthew 6:7-13 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Matthew 6:7-13 ...  But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

When there is a need, certainly I turn to God and make my "request" known to HIM.  (Phil. 4:6) When there is a need.  Most of the time, I find there is no need in my life.

When there is no need, I mostly thank God for that which I see.

It is important when there is a need to pray according to the will of God ...  let your request be made known unto God ... Phil. 4:6

Recently, I had to send my CD player to another town for repair.  I prayed the CD player would arrive safely.  I prayed the right man would work on the CD player and make repairs as needed.

Recently a woman in Lubbock greatly disturbed me with a report.  Her report brought a fear that another woman might be in trouble.  But even before I could pray, the woman who brought the evil report called me and told me she had followed through on the matter and the other woman was fine, no trouble at all.

Often I pray, before going out to eat with an acquaintance, that God will have me speak only that which HE wants spoken.  (This woman is Catholic.)

I have dental appointments every 6 months.  Before going, I usually pray that God not have them do anything unnecessary.

I thank God often that I have money to buy food ... I rarely want clothing ... I thank God that food is available and that I have money to pay for food.

It seems to me that mostly I have no need and everything is provided ... sometimes there is a fear and then I pray.  God always gives me something to settle me when there is a fear.
