Isaiah 25:8-9 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Isaiah 25:8-9 ... He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it. 9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

In the New Covenant, death is swallowed up in victory because we identify with nailing our own flesh on the cross with Jesus so we no longer have to serve the flesh.  We are dead with Christ.

Romans 6 ...  Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7For he that is dead is freed from sin.  8Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.  14For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

I was baptized when I was 15.  My life didn't change at all because I did not have the Spirit of God at that time.

Then when I was 37, God spoke to me by HIS Spirit and I was changed instantly and given His Spirit.  After that I heard to be baptized.  I did that the same day I heard to do it.  When the minister lowered me into the water, the Holy Spirit said, "This is like being buried with Christ."  When I came out of the water, the Holy Spirit said, "This is like being raised with Christ."  I didn't know Romans 6 at that time but that is what it is saying in Romans 6.

Our flesh is circumcised (cut away) by the cross of Christ so that we no longer have to serve our flesh for it is now dead.  And we are raised by God in newness of life so we can now serve God.  (We cannot serve God with our flesh.)
