Jesus, THE WORD, is the light.
God speaks the word to us by HIS Spirit by bringing thoughts, ideas, concepts to our mind. After this, we know what to do in the situation we are dealing with on this earth.
The people of the world stumble about in the darkness of the world, doing all manner of things which people consider to be wise.
We who are of God go another way. We simply pray and try to do what we believe God wants us to do and when we have a word from God we go that way and we walk in light and in wisdom.
Prov. 4 ... But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 19The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
