Knowing the difference between thoughts from God and thoughts from devils

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Many thoughts come to our minds throughout each day.  Some thoughts are from God.  Some thoughts are from devil.  The Holy Spirit brings thoughts but devils also bring thoughts.

When we are of God we have power over devils.  And we are able to try those spirits to see whether they are of God.  Thus the apostle John instructs:  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.  I Jn. 4

When thought comes to you saying something is going to happen in future ... Is such a thought of God or is it of devil?  Do I need to be concerned about such happening?  If that thought is from a devil, we know it is a lie for the devil is a liar and there is no truth in him.

Jn. 8:42-45   (Jesus addressing people not of God) ... 42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. 44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.  45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

If we are a child of God, we have power and even Bible instruction to try the spirits to see whether that spirit speaking is from God.

Money is likely a thought frequently brought to mind.  "You're spending too much money."  "You're going to run out of money."  "You won't have enough money to take care of you."  ... When such a thought comes, we can immediately say:  "Do you confess Jesus Christ is come in the flesh?"   Mostly such thoughts are from devils trying to disturb us needlessly and trying to cause us to take action to "save" more money maybe by eliminating things which are even good for us.

Thoughts may come to trouble you about your children ... or your mate ... Certainly a good idea to try the spirits when such happens!

Then the devil sends strange thoughts to try to convince you not to try the spirits. (Good idea to try the spirit that sent that thought!)

Not unusual for devils  to respond "softly" to this question as to Jesus coming in the flesh for devils do not want to show themselves to be devils for then you wouldn't pay attention to them when they speak.  Devils want to hide but they must answer when we address them, "Do you confess Jesus Christ is come in the flesh?"

A few days ago, Pam Padgett questioned a thought brought to her mind by asking:  Do you confess Jesus Christ is come in the flesh?  There was a brief pause and then she heard:  "Well ... no."
