John 12:46 ... (Jesus said) I (THE WORD) am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
Exhortation: Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
We, who belong to God, do not continue to live in darkness. We flee darkness. We are no longer of this world. We have been changed by God. We are now dead to this world. Those things that once mattered no longer matter. Those people we once pursued worldly pleasures with no longer appeal to us. We can't do those things we once did for now that we belong to God we are dead to this world. We are crucified with Christ that our flesh no longer rules as it once did. Now we are light in the Lord and we follow "real" light. The people of this world live in darkness. We can't live that way when we are light. For light and darkness are not compatible. If you enter a dark room and turn on the light what happens? The darkness will disappear. So it is in dealing with this world. When we turn on the light, they will often flee. We can't abide in darkness as we once did, doing things of darkness for now we are light in the Lord.
