When a person in the church is weak, here is reason to look for.
I Cor. 11:29-30 ... For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (die).
So when a person in the church is weak, look for that person to be mishandling the word of God. He could not be weak in the faith and handle the scriptures correctly. It would be impossible.
Paul said, "He that eateth and drinketh unworthily ..."
Unworthily means: failing to make proper effort toward ... failing to give proper attention to ... failing to give proper respect toward ...
Shortly after I was born again, in 1975, I was attending a church group and I began writing down each scripture spoken at the service and when I came home I took that verse and thought about what it was saying and tried to apply it to my life.
It turned out the church group I was attending was very corrupt although I didn't know it at the time. Finally God removed me from that group by giving me the poison gas dream which showed the speakers at church were gassing the people to death with what they were saying.
But even though the teaching was corrupt, I was dealing with specific scripture cited which was not corrupt. I just kept thinking those teachings pastor was doing didn't pertain to me but I knew the scriptures he was quoting did pertain to me so I wrote down those scriptures and spent time between services studying on my own those scriptures and I grew in things of God as I applied these to my life. (I did also take in some corrupt things but after I left that group God uprooted the corrupt teaching one by one.)
I was thinking about this as I started writing this to you. I decided to do this with our daily Internet writings. It made a difference to me as I wrote each scripture cited yesterday down and read the entire chapter containing the verse last night. I felt strengthened in things of God after doing this. It made a difference! And it was a lot better than watching TV which I didn't want to watch anyway.
Effort toward the word of God ... application of the instructions in your daily life ... attention, respect for the word of God ... ways to grow in the Lord!

One person among us reported that she failed to share scripture because she didn't think she was worthy ...
Think on this: If you are not made worthy through the blood of Jesus, what will it take to make you worthy?

I identify myself as "apostle/prophet" because that is the call of God on my life. (as per Eph. 4) After Jesus arose, after the crucifixion and resurrection, HE gave ministry offices, gifts to the NT church. Paul says, And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
To fail to identify myself this way would be to deny the call of God. It has nothing to do with my "rising" to these
offices. I was appointed to them by God and I do not deny them nor do I deny the call nor the offices of God.
These false modesty/false humility are serious things.
You can end up denying the blood of Jesus if you enter into such.

And
we must not pull back unto perdition ... that would be to pull back
unto destruction ... How foolish to pull back from faith to
destruction ... How can we do anything other than go forward?
Heb. 10 ... Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
