Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

1 John 2:15-17 ... Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Jesus prayed ... I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.  Jn. 17

The apostle John wrote:  We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. 19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. I Jn. 5

When I turn on TV and see commercials where people are lusting after cars and computers and various items I am amazed.  It seems such a big deal to them.  Do they really that it that seriously I wonder.  I suppose they do.

We, who are of God, see things another way for we have been recreated on this earth.  We feel the temporary aspect of everything here.  We know the best wine on this earth cannot compare with the wine we will have at the wedding of the Lamb in heaven.  No jewel on this earth will compare with that God had prepared for us.

But they see only this present world.

But the whole world lies in wickedness.

Wicked is defined as that which will harm or is likely to harm.

They see it is life.  We see it as a type of death.

The love of God lies in doing the commandment of God.  This is real wealth.  And it last forever.

In the book of Revelation, there is a scripture which speak of the end of time.  Time ends on this earth.  But that which continues has no time for there is no end.  Thus the things of God have no end.
