Thessalonians 4: 11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business,
and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
What a simple and orderly way of life
these instructions lead us. Yet it takes
effort to do these things.
Our flesh wants to go in a way opposite to quietness and
tending to our own business and doing our own work. It wants as much activity and excitement as
possible. So we have to continually keep
our flesh under control by not following the lusts of the flesh, but seeking to
do what is right in the sight of God in the matter at hand.

Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity,
peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
And in order to be quiet … in a peaceful and settled state
… we must be diligent to deal with each thing that comes across our path in an
appropriate way. We cannot ignore
problems or destructive thoughts, hoping they will go away. Instead, we need to turn to God with each
thing and go in the way He leads. Only
then will we be able to live in a peaceful and settled state.
There are
many temptations to run about and wear ourselves out instead of quietly dealing
with our own business. This is futile
and often results in much trouble and turmoil.
So we are instructed to quietly tend to our own business and do our own
work as we live on this earth, waiting for the return of Christ.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
One thing I noticed in Pam's teaching is that we are to follow godly things with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
So often when people contact me, they want something ...they somehow can't get these things for themselves and they think maybe I can get them for them through God. But I do not pray this way.
And there are other people who want religious things but not with a "pure heart" ... their ego is involved.
The people who are my companions in Christ are those who demonstrate a real love for the word of God, a laying down of their own desires, lives, and reputations. And, sadly, I have not found many who call themselves Christians who demonstrate this.
