Some became unfruitful

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

In the parable of the sower, Jesus described some who became unfruitful.  This indicates they were at one time fruitful but became unfruitful.

Mt. 13 ... Jesus says ... When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.  22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. (To "become" unfruitful indicates this person was at one time fruitful with the word.  But this person allowed the care of this world, the deceitfulness of riches ... Mk.4  and the lest of other things to enter in ... and because of this he "became" unfruitful.)

- cares of this world
- deceitful of riches
- lust of other things

Use the above list to examine yourself.  Do you have any concerns?  If so, this indicates you have not settled the matter by prayer.  You are not keeping yourself ready for the return of Jesus.

What about the pursuit of more money ... desire for money ... ?  The answer to this is learning to be content with food and raiment ... II Tim. 3

The desire for other things is also one of the fleshly problems?  Is there anything you desire on this earth?  I can say there is nothing on this earth I desire.  I don't want to make any changes on the property.  I don't want to shop and buy things.  I don't need things.  I don't want to go anywhere.  Any one of these things can pull you off.  So you can examine yourself and if you want anything pray that the fire of desire be extinguished by God.

II Tim. 2 ... Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.  3Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 5And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. 6The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.  7Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
