Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 106:1-3 ... Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise? 3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

We praise the Lord each time we read a scripture and do what it says by the Spirit of God, conforming our lives to the instruction given in the scripture.  This is also "the fear of the Lord" for when we do this we show that we know God's way is the right way for us to go on this earth.

For example:  Paul instructed ... Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, (servant of God) ...(Phil. 2)

We can read the above scripture but when we set our purpose to do that scripture and eliminate those things that keep us from doing that scripture then we show "a fear of the Lord".

Some people try to bless themselves by making physical crosses with their hands.

We, who are of God bless ourselves each time we do a word from God when we do it by the leading Spirit of God.

So if we are to make ourselves of no reputation we give up the goal of getting ahead in this present world.  We stop trying to win out over other people.  We take a completely different direction.  We set our goal to be a servant of God, seeking the will of God in all things.  And we learn the following way on this earth ... I Tim. 6:8 ... And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

As you read this, examine yourself on these points:

- make myself of no reputation
- serve God rather than myself and man
- be content with food and raiment, not wanting more

If we do Phil. 2, and keep on doing it, we change our lives.

John said ... And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
