Pam Padgett ... teacher
Since the bombings at the Boston marathon a few weeks ago,
some of the news reporters have talked about cameras in public places
and other ways United States government agencies are constantly trying
to monitor for danger, such as other terrorist attacks. A great deal of
money and effort is spent, yet they are unaware of some of the things
they want to stop.
While thinking about this, I was reminded that God knows all things.
Nothing is hidden from God. God knows even the number of hairs on our
head.
Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a
farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your
Father. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear ye
not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
God is aware of each thing about us and each thing that concerns and
affects us. If it is the will of God for something to be stopped, He
will stop it. When we go through adversity, we are promised that God will not leave nor forsake those who belong to Him (Hebrews 13:5).
And since nothing is hidden from God, He knows everything we do.
Nothing we do, say, think, or have in our heart is hidden from God.
Luke 12:1 In the mean time, when there were gathered
together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode
one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all,
Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2 For
there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that
shall not be known. 3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness
shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in
closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
Man tries to hide his deeds from other men. But no one can hide from God.
