II Kings 6 ... Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp. 9And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down.
To His disciples, Jesus said ...Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. Mt. 10:26
God often shows me what people are currently doing through dreams.
Also the Holy Spirit sometimes will remind me of something or will bring information as needed to my mind.
But it never fails that God reveals what I need to know.
