Godly/ungodly: compare their ways

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Psa. 1:6

The righteous person is a servant of God.  The ungodly is a servant of himself.

The righteous person knows how to wait on God before doing anything.  The ungodly has a long list of things he wants to accomplish .. his works.

The righteous person depends on God for everything ... wisdom, instruction, material things.  The righteous person isn't trying to do anything or accomplish anything.  The goal of the righteous is to do that which God wants done and to please God in the way he does it.

The righteous believes the word of God and conforms his own way to that word when he learns of that word.  The ungodly explains away the word of God in order to continue in his own pleasure and preference.

The righteous is godly.  The unrighteous often has a form of godliness and tries to appear godly to others and may even think of himself as godly as he pursues his own plans.

The righteous deliberately makes himself of no reputation, refusing to exalt himself, exalting the word of God.

There are many differences between the way the righteous and the way of the ungodly but the way of the ungodly is a way of death even when it seems to work.
