The Word which strengthens me

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

The apostle Paul said ...

I can do all things through Christ (The Word) which strengtheneth me.  Phil. 4:13

As we keep the word of God before us day and night, thinking on that word, we become strong enough to do that word.

The instruction God gave to Joshua applies to us also.

God said ... This book of the law (rules and concepts of God) shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.  9Have not I commanded thee?  Josh. 1:8-9

Usually I cannot just look at a scripture one time and do it.  I have to keep that scripture in front of me and think about each part of what it says and think of how this applies to my life.  Then often I have to keep it in front of me day and night for days, weeks, or even months for it to take root in my heart and bear fruit.

I have done this for many years and have found prosperity and good success over and over for the past 30 years.  Many times it has looked as if what I was doing as a result of scripture would destroy me.  Many times I've had both friends and relatives tell me I was going to be destroyed unless I set aside the Bible and went another way.  I just clung to what the Bible said and when I got strong enough in Bible, I did go the way I saw to go in Bible and I kept prospering and having good success even when it looked like I would be destroyed.

As David went out to fight with 5 smooth stones because he knew it would work since he had seen it work before, I know meditating in these scriptures works.  I know if I keep these scripture before me day and night in time these scriptures will rise up in me to cause me to follow them and I will prosper as a result and have good success.

Psa. 1 ... Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

(I don't want my wisdom to be from men.  I want my wisdom to be from God.  Therefore I purpose to set aside that human who so wants to give me his worldly wisdom and avoid him, and seek the wisdom that is from God by reading Bible, meditating in specific scriptures and prayer.

2But his delight is in the law (rules & concepts) of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
