Psalm 34:19 ... Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 34:19 ... 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Some people think after you are born again things will go well for you.

After I was born again, I had terrible problems.  My best friend at that time said to me, "Joanie, these things aren't supposed to happen to you."

But Paul even said ... 3That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.  4For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.   I Thess. 3:3

And Peter said ... I Peter 4 ... Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. 16Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

And concerning Jesus we read ... Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; Heb. 5:8

There are many afflictions for the righteous but the answer is always in turning to God in prayer with the affliction and allowing God to establish us.
